Photo an Hour: February 2013

Okay, so though not all of my goals for 2013 have been so consistent, this whole Photo-An-Hour thing is totally happening!
For your viewing pleasure: an errand-filled February day.  Looking back on these photos has made me realize how tragically un-spring-like the weather is, this late into March.  Yuck!  Warm weather, you had better be around the corner!!

10 am// a quiet morning.  Rise and shine!
11 am// doing a bit of blogging in bed (the best place to blog.  The couch is a close second)
12 pm// the end of an era.  None of the goth stores on Queen Street seem long for this world.
1 pm// queen street, you really have changed.
2 pm// bridal shop spikes
3 pm// creeping on Ephraim as a photographer took his photo for The Globe and Mail
3 pm// I tried my hand at car modelling, too!
4 pm// checking out Star Wars on blu-ray (oh, yes, it's good!!)
5 pm// half off day is best day.
6-7 pm// driving home from a Michael's Crafts run and having some dinner
8 pm// catching the bus back to St. Catharines
And with any luck, folks, that'll be the last Greyhound I ever ride to or from the Niagara region.  Having a car is the best!!!

And for anyone else observing Passover (or Pesach, in hebrew), I hope you have a great Seder the next two nights! I'm really looking forward to seeing my extended family tonight.  This is the one time of the year that we can get all 60 or so of us in the same room! Yeah, I have a gigantic family.  The "smallest" Seder we had was something like 45 people.  Insanity!!

  1. I love these photo a day things. I recently did one on my blog too. Especially the spikes picture!

    1. I'm not usually big on dim, moody lighting, but that spikes picture really changed my mind. They look so glittery against the dark background!

  2. I love these kind of posts, keep doing them! It's really interesting to take a peek at what a blogger's normal day looks like.

    1. Hehe I wish I could say all of my days were like this! A lot of what I do at my job is confidential, so I have to reserve my photo-an-hour posts to my weekends. This was technically a work day, running errands in Toronto! So, kinda half way between work and play. But my job is pretty fun, so that line can be hard to draw sometimes ;)

    1. I'm so glad you like it!!! I LOVE your choice of words, and what it means to you. Thank YOU so much for sharing your choice and reasons with me!
And I am so excited to see my humongous family tonight! I'm schlepping along my big camera to take some snapshots of the people I don't often get to see. It's pretty special!

  4. Bridal shop spikes? Do tell! And life has been moving at warp speed that I barely remembered that it was Passover until I went in to work today and my boss mentioned it.
