OOTD: Silk Pants, Denim Jacket, and Rain.

The Deets:
Sandals: Saltwater Sandals in Tan

Do you ever decide you want to take some outfit photos, only to find that it's started to rain? Yeah.  Well, luckily, one of my favourite places to take photos in town is actually on the covered porch of a church! It was just a spattering of rain anyhow, nothing strong enough to stop us from going out.  

In other news, I quickly went from someone who didn't own a pair of sandals (for several years.  Nearly a a point of pride) to being totally obsessed with my saltwater sandals.  I want to wear them all the time.  They're so comfy, and PLAIN!! I can't tell you how sick of gladiator sandals and rhinestones and spikes and everything I am.  I wanted plain shoes I could wear with most of my summer dresses, and I think I did very well.  Now, to wait for those hot sunny skies...

      It's such a lovely spot! The big white pillars and brick wall just make such nice simple backgrounds.

    I know what you mean about encrusted gladiators. So over it. I won a gift card recently for a new pair of shoes, and I totally intend to buy a pair of simple, streamlined sandals. :)

      While I can be a "more is more" person, shoes that are too over the top are just too limiting... and I don't have a big enough shoe collection to accommodate many things that are so "exclusive"!

    I still can't get over how much I love your hair! This makes for a pretty backdrop and I like the mood of the rainy skies. Not every day though- hence why I live in the sunny desert ;) I know what you mean- I am so over those gaudy sandals too, I love my navy saltwaters. I am looking for a simple brown pair of sandals now too. How fun are those pants??

      I also love a good moody sky now and again.... umm unless I want to be outside that is! I wish the sun was a bit more consistent, but spring time in Ontario is all over the map. Sun, rain, snow, wind, lightning, it's such a mixed bag.

    your shot hair is amazing, you tot rock it! and i love those pants on you w/ the denmim jacket! i'm soo so so so so so i cant even write it enough sick of the crazy spikes, heels, wedges, etc on sandals as well and love yours for that very reason : )
